Location of the MEEKATHARRA Project
The projects areas form a discontinuous tenement package over an area of approximately 1,932 km2 and extending over a distance of some 200 km of the Meekatharra greenstone belt and peripheral Archaean granites.
 
History of the MEEKATHARRA Project
Gold was first found at Meekatharra in 1894, but the success was short-lived. The only reason for the survival of the town was due to a second gold discovery in 1899.
