Inflation must rise 'as fast as possible' says Draghi

The chief of the European Central Bank has said that inflation must be brought back to target "without delay", paving the way for full-blown quantitative easing.

Eurozone inflation rose to 0.4pc in the year to October, up from 0.3pc in the preceding month. At that level, price growth remained stuck well below the ECB's medium-term target of close to 2pc.
