EVRAZ signs a long-term contract with Rosneft

EVRAZ Nizhny Tagil Metallurgical Plant (EVRAZ NTMK) and EVRAZ Kachkanarsky Ore Mining and Processing Plant (EVRAZ KGOK), the largest industrial enterprises of Sverdlovsk region, have signed long-term contracts with OOO NGK ITERA, subsidiary of OAO NK Rosneft, for the supply of natural gas.  

The contracts provide for supply of estimated 14 billion cubic meters of natural gas to EVRAZ facilities over 10 years effective from 01.01.2016.

EVRAZ CEO Alexander Frolov advised that: “The agreement with Rosneft will ensure stable supply of natural gas to our Sverdlovsk facilities which is especially important in the volatile steel market”.

Chairman of the Board of OAO NK Rosneft Igor Sechin stated that: “Rosneft is the leading Russian independent producer of natural gas. Our license portfolio allows us to steadily increase production. These new contracts with EVRAZ ensure long-term monetization of primary resources produced by Rosneft companies”.
