Memento Mori: Remember That You Are a Mortal Man |
It is said that during the Roman Triumph, in which a great hero was recognized by a procession through the city, generally for a military victory, a slave was positioned behind them, whispering in their ear:
"Memento mori," roughly speaking 'Remember that thou art a man.'
As you may recall, Rome had become a Republic, after the overthrow of its monarchy, and enjoyed a period of Hellenistic influence, both in science and philosophy.Wednesday, November 25, 2020 |

The Ultimate Precious Metal Portfolio High-Grading Opportunity |
I have many important things to say in today’s very important, and pragmatic, article; and thus, am starting it early Sunday morning. After which, I’ll take a break, and resume Monday morning – so you won’t miss a moment of real-time commentary, in an ever-changing, and increasingly “PiMBEEB,” world.
To start, my increasingly strong belief that Precious Metals are set up for a sharp rebound in the not-too-distant future. Not that I know why the Cartel has been so vicious in recent weeks – starTuesday, July 11, 2017 |

Cryptocurrency Review: India Legalizes Bitcoin, Ethereum Flash Crash, ICO Update |
There were plenty of major happenings in the crypto world this week, so let’s dive in…
This week it was announced by the Unicode Consortium, that the 10.0 version of the Unicode Standard will include a Bitcoin symbol.
According to an article in The Verge online magazine, the timely addition won’t appear as a traditional bubble-like emoji, but rather a regular Unicode character, the currency’s B-like symbol. It said, “Unicode 10.0 is dFriday, June 23, 2017 |

My Newest “Most Likely To Catalyze The Big One” |
Today’s article is one of my scariest yet; as, after watching events unfold in the world’s most notorious geopolitical hotspot in recent weeks, it’s difficult to come up, using my best Spock-like logic, with an alternative conclusion to the potentially catastrophic one I’ll discuss today. Which, if it occurs, may catalyze not only the financial “big one” we all know is coming, but an era of political, geopolitical, economic, and monetary destabilization unlike; and potentially, unparalleled in Tuesday, June 20, 2017 |

European Banking System Collapsing Now! Next up, Sovereign Bonds |
Unequivocally, the rubber is hitting the road NOW! So much so, I believe “last to go” markets are in danger of being overwhelmed by the chaotically scrambling, Keystone Kop-like, terminally cancerous “powers that be.” And by “last to go,” I don’t just mean the gold and silver markets, which are being swamped by exploding physical demand, collapsing production, vanishing inventories, and history’s most violently PM-bullish political, economic, and monetary environment. No, I mean everything elTuesday, August 2, 2016 |

Potash Price Surge Could Lead To Higher Food Costs For Billions |
We are on the precipice of a food fight among 7 billion people, and potash
will be right at the center of it.
If you can add 200,000 people every day to the global population and account
for a significant loss of farmland at the same time, you can begin to understand
the dire food situation facing the planet. This is why potash is so important:
It's the fundamental element that everyone takes for granted, despite the fact
that a projected 7.7 billion lives will depend upon it by 2020.

Sasquatch’s Footsteps |
It’s Tuesday morning – and I again ask the question, amidst the raging global Precious Metals bull market that Wall Street, and most Western investors, fail to acknowledge. Which is, “hey Cartel, is that the best you’ve got?” This, after yesterday’s most blatant – and embarrassingly desperate – Cartel raid yet. This time, following a weekend in which headlines were dominated by the explosive “BrExit” and “GrExit” situations; and a morning featuring first, a horrifying Empire State ManufacturiWednesday, May 18, 2016 |

Scurrying For The Exits |
Hey, I never said it would be easy; and fighting for financial survival, in a dangerous world where the “powers that be” want us dead – or more aptly put, destitute – is the most difficult task I have ever faced. Thankfully, 14 years of experience, hard work, and perseverance have enabled me to survive the Cartel’s “best shots.” However, the sum total of the stress I, and many of you, have endured – not just from manipulated markets, but broadly speaking, the horrific ramifications of history’Thursday, May 12, 2016 |

The Ultimate Chinese Finger Trap |
It’s early Wednesday morning; on what may, following this afternoon’s Fed decision, and tonight’s by the Bank of Japan, turn out to be a “day of Central banking infamy.” Which is why, before I get to today’s extremely important topic, I’m going to start with my fourth straight day of detailed “manipulation analysis.”
Frankly, nothing I have seen in 14 years in the sector has been as blatant, and desperate, as what I’ve seen in the last week – as the Cartel chaotically attempts, and fails, to reWednesday, April 27, 2016 |

China Vs. The Gold Cartel – No Contest! |
There are so many places I could start – on this, the day before Miles Franklin’s Ft. Lauderdale Q&A Rap Session, to be hosted by my good friend, and fellow New Yorker, Kerry Lutz of the Financial Survival Network. As of yesterday, we had nearly 200 people registered to attend, and 400 to listen to the online, interactive webcast. This FREE event still has space available, and we invite you to either attend, or listen online. Now that the Cartel is clearly “on the ropes” – as starkly evidenceWednesday, April 20, 2016 |

More Gains For Ag Stocks In 2010 |
In a recent Desktop article ("Gasoline Welcomes You To Winter"), we celebrated the beginning of winter and marked the 200th anniversary (that's 200 days, mind you) of the equity market low culminating the Great De-leveraging.
Although the widely followed S&P 500 Composite was the yardstick used to score the market's nadir, that doesn't mean that every issue in the index bottomed on March 6. Take agribusiness stocks, for example. Of the five biggest domestically traded components of the DAXglobaFriday, January 29, 2016 |
