| HOUSTON (AP) _ Noble Energy Inc. (NBL) on Monday reported a third-quarter loss of $283 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Houston-based company said it had a loss of 67 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 21 cents per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 28 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 15 cents per share.
