According to data released by the Agency for Statistics under the
President of Tajikistan, inflation in the country stood at 8.9% in
January-October this year.
According to an International Monetary Fund prognosis, the year-end
inflation in Tajikistan will be to 13.5 %. Meantime, in the first 10 months
of this year, prices of products of food industry went up by 9.9% while
non-foodstuffs have risen in cost by 6.2 %. In the same period, prices and
rates for services rendered to the population soared by 9.9 %
