Mubasher: Jordan’s consumer price index fell by 0.7% to 121.1 points in January, Jordanian Department of Statistics (DoS) reported.
The groups that led the decline are dry and canned vegetable & legumes (-9.9%), transportation (-1.9%), meat & poultry (-1.9%), fuel and electricity (-1.1%), and culture & entertainment (-2.0%), DoS added.
Meanwhile, the prices of fruits & nuts, milk, dairy products & eggs, restaurants & hotels, and health rose by 5.7%, 0.4%, 0.5%, and 0.3% respectively.
