Americans need to do some navel-gazing about why they supported this sleazy couple and the degree of corruption on all levels that kept them in the highest office in the land.

 Nemesis Rising  (3)
 - James Howard Kunstler -
Nemesis Rising? Over the recent years, it's come and gone a number of times. Bill-and-Hill are out to pasture for good without lamenting by anyone. The silence during their departure was deafening, even their fan-boys acknowledging the permanent demise of the Clinton State as they slunk off to new hosts for their parasitic feast. But yet, we hear the echo refraining from afar, "Lock her up!" still ringing in the air. Ah, yes, it's hard to kill a team cheer. Especially when the head cheerleader has axes to grind upon his base. So sweet a revenge. Et tu, James?

I am sure all that Math is correct but it will be all rather useless when Gold goes into permanent backwardation.

It also ignores counterparty risk. If physical gold availability is limited, you are unlikely to get any - you will be paid out for your paper gold contracts in depreciating fiat currency . I don't hold gold as an investment but rather as financial fire extinguisher.

Mish: owning EFTs and any form of paper gold seem to ignore the danger of currency collapse. Surely that is the main reason for actually owning gold.

More like, let's start a war so we can funnel more taxpayers' dollars to the military-industrial complex.

 Say Anything!  (4)
 - James Howard Kunstler -
You write a nice wrap-up James. If I get to "Say Anything" I'd like to say there's ONE missing clown under The Big Top : Obama. Bill Maher recently said, in his CNN television interview, that if Obama were to run against Trump ~ Obama would win. Oh, how I would LOVE to see Obama's terrible legacy FINALLY stomped into the dirt by Trump. Much like the Democratic possibility of running a winning candidate (TULSI GABBARD) in 2020 : it's only a dream.

It is possible to earn interest on gold. That said, gold is just an asset, a very liquid one at that.

 Crazyland

The Celtic tribes of Britain were enslaved by the Romans. The Romans were eventually enslaved by the Germanic tribes. All of Europe was overrun by the Mongolian hordes and millions were hauled off as slaves. Every race, every nation and every tribe - including the Hebrews - were taken as slaves at one time or another. Those who deserve "Reparations" ~ if reparations for slavery become law ~ is NOT limited to black people.

Why is JPMorgan Above the Law
 - Theodore Butler - Butler Research
I will assume that TB is correct when it comes to JPM and price manipulation of PM's. Silver is now the same price it was back in April 2006. Sold all at the top 2011 ( ? good luck) This month is showing a possible reversal and if price stays above 15 it will be a good time to load up. This could be one for the ages. Notice I said could!
