Silvermex is a Canadian listed junior resource company focused on early to mid stage silver exploration projects in Mexico. The company's objective is to identify and/or acquire economic silver resources in excess of 50 million ounces in 2007. The company?s long term objective is to build silver resources of over 100 million ounces through 2008. Silvermex principal projects include the Penasco Quemado property and the Cerro de Plata property both located approximately 100 miles north of Hermosillo, the capital of Sonora, Mexico.
