SearchGold Resources Inc. (SearchGold) is a Canada-based company engaged in acquiring and exploring mining properties, gold and diamond properties, and investments in mining exploration companies, located in North America and Africa. As of June 11, 2007, the Company completed the disposition of Resources Mandala Guinee SARL to Stellar Diamonds Limited (Stellar). The projects of the Company include Bakoudou-Magnima Gold Project, which comprises the Magnima prospecting authorization with a 2,294 square kilometers surface area and the Bakoudou exploitation permit with a surface area of 24 square kilometers. In January 2006, the Company signed an agreement with Boure Gold Fields SARL to acquire a 100% interest in the 487 square kilometers Mandiana Gold Property located in Guinea, West Africa. In September 2007, SearchGold announced that it had entered into an agreement with Arc Mining and Investment s.a. (Arc), to acquire a 50% interest in two gold properties in Gabon.
