Virginia acquires vast land positions in unexplored territories to discover world-class deposits and new mining camps. Virginia has now a track record of discovery with the Eleonore project recently acquired by Goldcorp in a friendly transaction. With its portfolio of properties spread throughout the Province of Quebec, Virginia aims at minimizing the risks of exploration by diversifying its chances to succeed. For the same reason, Virginia associates with companies of all sizes to develop some of these properties. BHP Billiton, Goldcorp, Falconbridge and Cree Gold are among Virginia's partners who annually contribute in exploration expenditures.
