1. WA-286-P, Offshore Perth Basin, Western Australia
Roc Oil (WA) Pty Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ROC, advises that since its last Stock Exchange Release on 1 April 2008, the Dunsborough-2 appraisal well in WA-286-P in the offshore Perth Basin, Western Australia has completed wireline logging operations. The pressure and fluid sampling programmes have confirmed that the cored section in which oil shows were noted does not contain producible hydrocarbons. As at 0600 hours (local time) on 2 April 2008 the current operation was preparing to plug and abandon the well.

2. Offshore Mauritania
Roc Oil (Mauritania) Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of ROC, advises that as at 0600 hours (local time) on 31 March 2008, the Khop-1 exploration well has been plugged and abandoned.
The Atwood "Hunter" drilling rig is currently moving to drill an appraisal well on the 2002 Banda Oil and Gas discovery. The well is approximately 60 kilometres off the Mauritanian coast and is the second in the two well exploration/appraisal programme, is located in PSC Area B.

3. Cabinda South Block, Onshore Angola
Roc Oil (Cabinda) Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of ROC, advises that the Coco-1 exploration well commenced drilling on 25 March 2008. As at 0600 hours (local time) on 1 April 2008, the well had been drilled to the intermediate casing point at 635 mBRT.
Coco-1, which is on the Lele High approximately 1.4 kilometres north of Milho-1, is the fifth well in the current seven well exploration drilling programme and is expected to be finished by the end of May 2008.
Consistent with ROC's established practice regarding its Angolan drilling activity, the Company will only issue public statements at the beginning and end of each drilling operation after the relevant information has been collected and carefully analysed.

4. Blane Oil Field, North Sea
Roc Oil (GB) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ROC, advises that as at 0600 hours (local time) on 31 March 2008, the "Ocean Princess" rig was completing logging in the 30/3a-3Z sidetrack water injection well which has been drilled to a Total Depth of 3,622 mBRT. The forward plan is to run 9-5/8" casing.
