("NWest" or the "Corporation") (News - Market indicators) announces that, subject to regulatory approval, Mr. Kevin Aylward shall be appointed as President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of the Corporation. Mr. Aylward has extensive public/private sector management experience in the resource and transportation sectors. Most recently Mr. Aylward has worked in the oil sands industry and with First Nations groups on business development and environmental technology issues. Previously, he served as CEO of the Goose Bay International Airport and Nunacor Development Corporation. He also served as a Provincial Cabinet Minister for nine years with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador including the Environment, Labour and Forestry portfolios. Mr. Aylward also served as Leader of the Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador during the Provincial Election in 2011. 

Mr. Aylward replaces Mr. Robert Webb who resigned from his position as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mr. Webb was appointed as President and CEO for NWest in 2009 and is leaving the Company to devote his energies to other undertakings. Mr. Webb will remain on the Board of Directors.

Mr. Wade Dawe has resigned from the Board of the Corporation as of June 18, 2013, in order to devote time to other professional responsibilities. NWest's Board of Directors would like to thank him for his contributions to the Corporation.
