VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 4, 2012) - Superior Mining International Corporation (News - Market indicators) (the "Company" or "Superior") is pleased to announce that it has completed a soil sampling program on the Redcastle Project near the Murrin Murrin nickel mining operation in Western Australia. A total of 354 samples were collected for assay including QA/QC duplicates and standards.
The soil samples were collected using a minus 80 mesh sieve from a depth of five to twenty centimeters on a 200 metre by 200 metre spacing. The samples have been submitted for analysis for gold at lower threshold detection of 1ppb.
Areas in the north-west part of the tenements appear to be covered with Tertiary palaeochannels or granite. This area was not sampled.
A study of satellite imagery and aeromagnetics may lead to re-interpretation, requiring additional soil sampling.
Results are still pending.
