Asacha mining and production update
LONDON: 18 July 2016 - Trans-Siberian Gold plc ('TSG' or the 'Company') (TSG.L) reports that mine development in the second quarter of 2016 comprised 986 metres while ore extraction (including ore from stoping and mine development) amounted to 43,281 mt, including new stoping ore of 5,937 mt at an average 12.6 g/t gold in April, 8,525 mt at an average 9.2 g/t gold in May and 4,378 mt at an average 9.6 g/t gold in June. In June mine development was temporarily affected by equipment breakdown and the lower average processed gold grade reflected some planned ore extraction from a lower grade area.
In the first half of 2016, an average 13,441 mt per month was processed through the Asacha plant (2015: 13,252 mt per month).
