Title: Copper Ridge Confirms U Values At
Borealis Airborne Radiometric Survey Completed
Vancouver, BC, August 16, 2007 - Copper Ridge Explorations Inc. (the
"Company") announces results of a preliminary sampling program at its
Borealis uranium property, 50
km north of Dawson City, Yukon. The Borealis property
covers approximately 1800
hectares of a mid Cretaceous multiphase granitic unit of
the Tombstone Suite intrusive complex. Uranium mineralization is associated
with a late stage phase of syenite dykes within the stock and occurs as
structurally controlled lenses of pitchblende and as disseminations of
uraninite within the syenite.
Nine grab samples were recently collected from areas of previously reported
uranium mineralization. Assay results confirmed the previous results, with
values ranging from 0.01 percent U to 2.1 percent U. Six of the samples were
taken from trenches in an area where historical sampling of 24 rocks from a 10
by 60 m
talus train returned values ranging from 38 to 4200 ppm U and averaging 2100
ppm U (0.21%). The
results of these samples are:

The sampling indicates that several styles of mineralization occur within the
intrusive rock. Samples 36451 to 36454 were taken from oxidized fractures
within course grained syenite, while sample 36455 was of finer grained syenite
containing irregular quartz veinlets. Samples 36458 to 36460 were of more
massive dark material, possibly lenses containing pitchblende developed within
the syenite.
An airborne radiometric and magnetic survey has just been completed over the
property by Aeroquest International. Preliminary results from the survey are
being used to guide a follow-up program of mapping, prospecting and soil and
rock sampling, which is now underway.

Copper Ridge's exploration philosophy focuses on maximizing the potential for
success in a high-risk business. With grass roots mineral exploration, where
the entry cost is low but the potential reward can be very high, success will
be contingent on exploration skill and on carefully managed risk. Our
management team brings tenacity, technical skill and experience, all crucial
ingredients for discovery. By exploring a broad array of projects, focusing on
the right commodities, in areas of high mineral potential and in
mining-friendly jurisdictions and by sharing the risks on some projects with
joint venture partners, Copper Ridge is exposing its shareholders to a greater
chance for discovery. Copper Ridge is well financed for the 2007 field program
on its Yukon and British Columbia properties.
