FORTRESS CORPORATE UPDATE

April 26, 2012 (FST ? TSXV) ? Fortress Minerals Corp. (?Fortress? or the ?Company?) reports that it has received notice from the TSX Venture Exchange (the ?Exchange?) that the Company has a Tier 2 Continued Listing Requirements Deficiency in relation to its assets and operations for a company classified as a Mining Issuer.  The Exchange has placed the Company on notice with a deadline of October 16, 2012 by which the Company is required to provide a submission to the Exchange evidencing that it meets Tier 2 Continued Listing Requirements.

In this regard, the Company reports that it is well financed and is continuing to review a number of projects in the resource sector for possible acquisition.
