Remaining A2 Holes

Assays for the remaining three holes (A2-007, A2-008 and A2-009) are awaited.

GEOPHYSICAL SURVEYS AT ANOMALY A2

Gravity and induced polarisation (IP) surveys have now been completed at Anomaly A2.  This work was undertaken in an attempt to define the better mineralised zones in what has now been shown to be a large polymetallic vein style mineralised system.

Gravity Survey

This survey was designed to infill EPM 13775 at approximately 1.0 km by 2.0 km centres where the existing Commonwealth and Queensland government data was of the order of 10.0 km by 10.0 km density.  It is hoped that the better mineralised areas will be represented by discrete gravity anomalies within the regional gravity high.  The survey was completed in early September and is now being interpreted.

Induced Polarisation (IP) Survey

This survey was designed to locate the better mineralised areas within the broad mineralised zone identified to date.  A total of six lines up to 1.6 km in length were tested.  A preliminary review of the data collected indicates that the survey has been successful in detecting the sulphide mineralisation.  Interpretation of the survey data is in progress.

ANOMALY A1 DRILLING RESULTS

Following the successful intersection of copper dominant veining in the first hole at anomaly A1, a second hole was drilled 400 metres to the north east.  Hole A1-002 was drilled at an angle of 60 degrees back towards the collar of the first hole. Vein style mineralisation with dominant copper and iron sulphides present was also intersected. At least three distinct veins types have been identified.  Assays are awaited.

FORWARD PROGRAM

Drilling at Anomalies 1 and 2 has now been completed for 2007. Results of the drilling, together with the geophysical surveys will now be interpreted with a view to delineate the best targets for drill testing in 2008.
