CALGARY, Alberta (AP) _ Enerplus Corp. (ERF) on Friday reported a second-quarter loss of $254.2 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Calgary, Alberta-based company said it had a loss of $1.23 per share. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment costs, came to 4 cents per share.
The oil and natural gas company posted revenue of $188.6 million in the period.
Enerplus shares have declined 37 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 73 percent in the last 12 months.
