Vancouver, B.C.: Bell Copper Corporation ("Bell Copper" or the "Company") (TSX-V Symbol: BCU) announces that further to the Company's news release of February 25, 2009 the Company has elected to proceed to litigation against Golden Gryphon USA Inc. after a protracted negotiation period to resolve outstanding claims and counterclaims relating to the exploration of the Gryphon Summit Project in the State of Nevada, USA.Golden Gryphon USA Inc. has filed a Writ in the Supreme Court of British Columbia demanding payment of $1,425,844.50 from Bell Copper Corporation. The Board of Directors of the Company have elected to file a defence and counterclaim for return of all funds advanced by the Company to Golden Gryphon USA Inc. on the basis that Golden Gryphon USA Inc. withheld the data generated from work programs that were funded by Bell Copper Corporation in 2007.
