Anglo Aluminum Closes First Tranche of Private Placement Offering
VANCOUVER, BC � Anglo Aluminum Corp. (the "Company") announces that further to its news releases of December 28, 2011 and January 4, 2012, it has closed the first tranche of its non-brokered private placement, this first tranche consisting of 1,000,000 Units at a price of $0.10 per Unit for aggregate proceeds of $100,000. Each Unit is comprised of one common share in the capital of the Company and one share purchase warrant (a "Warrant"). Each Warrant entitles the holder to purchase one additional common share at a price of $0.15 per share until January 18, 2014.
Shares acquired by the placees are, and shares which may be acquired upon the exercise of the share purchase warrants will be, subject to a hold period until May 19, 2012, in accordance with applicable securities legislation. The proceeds of the private placement will be used by the Company for general corporate purposes.
