(NYSE: SFY) gained nearly 5 percent in the extended session to $2.35. Before the bell Wednesday, the company posted fourth quarter earnings. Rice Energy Inc. (NYSE: RICE) picked up nearly 4 percent in late trading, changing hands at $21.48 recently. The company didn't issue any news. Orexigen Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: OREX) rose nearly 3 percent after hours to $7.46. Orexigen extended earlier gains on news its obesity drug won marketing approval in Europe.
