July 8, 2009 The Company wishes to provide shareholders with an update on corporate developments and upcoming plans. As part of the Company�s on-going commitment to communicate with shareholders and investors on a consistent basis, NioGold has appointed Dale Paruk as vice-president of corporate development. NioGold is pleased to continue its relationship with First Canadian Capital of Toronto. First Canadian has been instrumental in introducing key brokers and investors to the company and will continue in that role in coordination with Dale Paruk. Drilling continues on NioGold�s joint venture with Alexandria Minerals on the Siscoe East property, located in the Val-d�Or Camp. This is a historic high-grade gold sector of the camp, and drilling to date looks encouraging. The third hole was started this week and initial assays are expected in a few weeks. Work continues on the Company�s 43-101 Marban resource estimates in the Malartic Camp. NioGold drilled over 45,000 m on the Malartic properties in the past two years and the updated 43-101 resource will increase substantially from the 342,000 oz gold announced in 2007. This report should be available within two months. After drilling is completed at Siscoe East, NioGold will move the drill to the Malartic properties and drilling is scheduled to begin in the first week of August on some priority targets where the Company hopes to make a new discovery. NioGold expects to have a very active summer, and n! ews shou ld be released on a consistent and regular basis. The fall season usually coincides with an increase in demand for gold (primarily for the Indian wedding season) so the next few months should see renewed interest in NioGold Mining!
