VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Silver Standard Resources Inc. (SSRI) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $12.1 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had net income of 10 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 26 cents per share.
The precious metals mining company posted revenue of $127.3 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported net income of $65 million, or 63 cents per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $491 million.
Silver Standard Resources shares have climbed 22 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 90 percent in the last 12 months.
