SAGUENAY, QUEBEC - (July 3, 2008) -
Arianne Resources Inc. ("Arianne") (TSX VENTURE:DAR)(FRANKFURT:JE9)(OTCBB:DARUF) is pleased to announce the acquisition of 38 additional claims (by map designation; pending) in order to increase the size of its phosphorus-titanium properties North of Lac St-Jean. For many months, Arianne has been in discussion with a major North American fertilizer producer and the acquisition of claims serves the purpose of securing its apatite (P2O5) and ilmenite (TiO2) properties. At this point in time, the Company cannot confirm if a definitive agreement will be reached between the parties.
The interest of phosphates, of which more than 80% of the worldwide production is used by agriculture, is that all plants cultivate or not, have an inevitable need of phosphorus for their growth and existence. As there is no substitute product, phosphates are proving to be indispensable in the life of the vegetal world. If qualitatively phosphorus must imperatively be present in the soil to ensure the life of plants, its abundance promotes the quantitative development of these and therefore enables the growth of agricultural production which can then respond to the increase in global food needs.
Fertilizers must bring basic elements as nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K). If the three are linked, it forms NPK-type fertilizers which accounts for 85% of the fertilizers sold today. A recent study from Goldman Sachs concludes that the price of potassium and phosphorus should continue to rise due to the short supply of those elements.

http://www.wsrw.org/index.php?parse_news=single&cat=105&art=735 Lac a Paul Property:Infered historical resources (non 43-101 compliant) were estimated for Zones 1 and 2 of this property. Infered resources of 20.1 million metric tons at grades of 4.43 % TiO2 and 3.78 % P2O5 were estimated in Zone 1 following a drilling program. The estimate was done by the classic block method. A global area of 0.37 squared km, an average thickness of 17 m, a density of 3.2 and the average grades of all the drill intersections were used for this estimate.
With the same type of analysis, Arianne estimated infered resources of 17.6 million metric tons at grades of 4.34% TiO2 and 4.27% P2O5 in Zone 2. This time, a global area of 0.275 squared km with a thickness of 20 m was used for the estimate. These infered resources were later published and discussed in a independent technical report written by Nathalie Ross, Ph.D, geo., dated August 30, 2002.
The Lac a Paul property now comprise an area that was previously drilled by SOQUEM in 1997. One of the drill holes (Man 97-01) then returned 7.56 % P2O5 and 9.65 % TiO2 on 117.86 m (GM 58190). This drill hole is located some 2 km North of Zone 1 where the resource estimate was done with a thickness of 17 m.
Industrial minerals portfolio. The Company's industrial minerals properties is a valuable asset as the price of phosphorus keeps rising. (see www.arianne-inc.com in the "projects" section for additional information on the Company's industrial minerals properties)
