Key questions for the Justice Department will center around how to handle release of classified material or information sourced from a grand jury, how to share information with the White House, and whether to allow select members of Congress to review the report and provide a redacted version for broader consumption.

Here's the Mueller Report Letter that Bar Sent to Congress.

Witch Hunt Will Continue

Democrats will latch on to point number 5 above, ensuring the witch hunt will continue.

Democratic committee chairmen, meantime, stressed in a phone call with lawmakers that Congress is focused well beyond the scope of Mr. Mueller’s investigation, which was limited to Russian interference in the 2016 election. “Our work is really far broader,” said Rep. Jamie Raskin (D., Md.). “We’ve got an independent constitutional duty to examine all of the evidence.”

What started out as an investigation about Russia collusion has morphed into anything and everything but a Russia collusion investigation.

As long as we are examining all the evidence of wrongdoing, how about further investigation of Hillary Clinton?

Release the Report

A push toward disclosure has been building in both parties in for weeks, but not all in Congress are in favor of the report’s release. Earlier this month, the House voted 420-0 to pass a resolution calling for the public release of Mr. Mueller’s report, but a Democratic effort to pass the measure in the Senate was blocked by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.).

Just release the damn thing. Not releasing the report will bring charges that Republicans want to hide something.

Witch Hunt

A USA Today Poll shows a majority in the US view the investigation for what it is: A witch hunt.

I suspect that number would be a lot higher of the poll was taken again today. Yet ....

Democrat Judiciary Chairman: "We Know There Was Collusion"

At about the 40 second mark, Rep. Jerrold Nadler told CNN "We know there was some collusion. We know that the president's son and campaign manager were involved in a meeting with Russians to receive stolen, what they thought was information stolen by the Russians from the Democratic National Committee as part of the Russian government attempt to help Trump in the election. ... We know there was collusion. Why there has been no indictments, we don't know."

Those last two sentences would make more sense if we changed the context to Hillary, and changed the words "was collusion" to "serious crimes".

Nadler used the word "know" a dozen times when "flamboyantly allege" would be far more appropriate.

Media Bias

Byzantine Investigation

Finally, the idea that Russia stole documents from the DNC was long ago proved preposterous. It was an inside job. That we do understand simply from time stamps and how long it would have taken a foreign hack to do the job.
