USAGOLD note: According to this Axios report, Powell looks to be in pretty good shape as far as Senatorial support goes. So, it gets down ultimately to how the White House sees it, and as we have framed in the past, whether it prefers the moderate Powell or the more liberal Brainard. Thus far, its economic policies have been decidedly left of center.
