Ah but you haven't seen anything yet. Consider the possibility that the so-called public funded safety nets get hard-core about means testing.

What? You own your house? Well you need to borrow against it if you want government help. And of course as the local governments get strapped for property tax revenues, you will need to borrow some more.

That second car will need to go also. Besides, it is good for the environment. Just ask your children. They learned all about it in school.

After all, there is only so much available funding. Those with the greatest needs will be served first. Desperate people will sell their votes dirt cheap.

It will be the new and improved class warfare.
