>If Europe Should Fail  - Clive Maund -
Mr.Maund,
I read some of your articles from time to time, quite a few I would say.
My questions for you is if it is of the magnitude you describe, won't fiat paper become almost worthless?.
In '08 when the crisis was bad, but nothing close to this scale, precious metals did tank, but premiums to purchase them went way up.And you well know what happened to the prices from the lows set then.

So, do you think it would be a worthwhile buy, of they do tank, or going forward from this type of devastation, food, water, and weapons will be the REAL currency of value?.
Basic survival first, but fiat USD's do not give me a real great feeling of retaining value long in this scenario.

A barter system would most likely be the way we would head.People are much more attuned now, compared to then, at the USD's relative loss of even more value.
I,like yourself (likely) do not trust fiat currencies, as not one has ever
survived in world history.
Sure, I will agree to remove what's liquid, but if the US system crashes on this scale also, then fiat is going to soon lose all value, because of the amount of debt we(Fed) has incurred.

Your opinion?.

Major disruptions in supply and distribution... Read More
