1st, I would like to offer my compliments to Mr. Murphy for obviously working on his post for some time and giving it a great deal of thought. But 2nd, I have to tell him the emperor has no clothes. This essay has so many holes and outright fallacious arguments it is hard to know where to start.

I'm not going to waste my time going over every one of his 'arguments', so I'll just pick one. Mr. Murphy says that 'legal experts' will draft the law of the land. They will be chosen by 'open competition'. Oh really? And what are the criteria? Who gets to pick that criteria? Is this by popular vote? Simply stated, this is a recipe for tyranny. Our 'banking experts' have managed to create quite a mess. The entire reason we have TBTF banks is precisely because of an unelected Fed that is only beholden to its member banks, not the public. I would much rather take my chances with the jury system however flawed, than to trust in 'experts'.
