It is Not in the Israelis interest to bring down the current regime in Syria. The Assads brought some measure of predictability and quiet to the Israeli defense plan, since Syria got their butts kicked again in 1973. Me thinks that the cannibals that we are supporting have Jewish meat on the menu. Neither the US or Britain protect Israel from the Arabs, but the Arabs (Saud Family) from the Israelis.
