It's the height of naivety to believe Iran, by speaking with Obama, is doing anything for peace other than buying time to develop nuclear weapons. Iran is a nation that has many times vowed complete destruction of Israel. Paul compares Iran to the former Soviet Union which, in fact, feared destruction from the United States; Iran has no such comparative fear.

Equally strangely Ron Paul, who believes our nation is a Republic ruled by laws guaranteeing individual rights NOT dependent on majority concurrence -- now spouts a CNN poll where the majority favors some form of action. Polls ought not determine moral actions or inactions.

Paul end his article with this: "...this is no time to let down our guard."
