" Iran is a nation that has many times vowed complete destruction of Israel." So what, why does the USA have to protect this apartheid state? Israel has been wiping out the Palestinians for 65 yrs. and the whole world looks on. Why don't we arm those Palestinian freedom fighters?
Because were too busty arming the terrorists in Syria. Those freedom fighters that cut the heads off priests with steak knives.

"Soviet Union which, in fact, feared destruction from the United States" and where is the proof of this FACT?

Iran has NOT attacked any other country in 250 yrs. What is our record for invading and killing the people of other countries because they do not agree with us?
Iran is seeking nuclear weapons just like Iraq already had those WMD. How many lies must you be fed until you realize your being lied too?
I suppose you don't believe these things because our main stream media doesn't bother to report what our 51st state does.
