>Charts from Lacy Hunt's Presentation at Casey Research October Summit - Mish - Global Economic Analysis
"All things considered, I fail to see how one can look at the global picture and conclude price inflation in the US is imminent."

If you say so, however I'm having trouble reconciling the above statement with the receipts and labels of my purchases.
Maybe someone snuck into my pantry and shop and repriced my stock much lower than it actually was purchased for.
Maybe I'm suffering from dementia?

Or maybe you just believe in fairy dust, pink unicorns and your line of BS.

If you really believe, then any reason to buy and hold PMs is delusional. No hyperinflation = no reason for PMs.
You don't buy boat insurance if you have no boat.
I have seen inflation since the '50's, but no need for PMs. Cash always worked. However ...

Past performance is no indication of future performance or any performance at all.
It wasn't raining when Noah began building his ark. The economic drizzle is already washing away businesses and jobs.
This means losses in the tax revenue stream. Ergo, fire up the presses and man the keyboards; government wages, largess and entitlements MUST be paid. Fewer businesses means less stock with constant demand. Bubba, that is inflationary until it becomes hyperinflationary!

So here is a thought. I prepare for hyperinflation and it doesn't happen versus I fail to prepare and it does happen. Decide for yourself and remember, objects in the mirror appear bright only because the lights are still on.

Once again:
"All things considered, I fail to see how one can look at the global picture and conclude price inflation in the US is imminent."

Kinda says it all, don't it?
