You have made 2 observations which are quite accurate:

1. Voters are indeed idiots for the most part. They are apathetic, easily influenced and will vote for what is bad for them. And then down the track the same folk will complain whilst never realising that it is their own ignorance and lack of understanding of anything past their immediate needs which has caused their pain. The old saying that "you get the government you deserve" is so so true.

2. Elected representatives will ALWAYS do what is right for them, not the electorate. You only have to look at issues like the gun debate with its endless slaughters of innocent children in their schools. But God forbid that any political leader removes the right of gun manufacturers to carry on business as usual.

Thanks for the spiel. I agree with removing money creation from any individual/s and tying it to some arbitrary asset like gold so that crooked governments cannot cook the books whilst lying to the population it is supposedly serving.
