>Marine Le Pen Ahead of Hollande in France Presidential Poll; Le Pen Blames EU for Crisis in Ukraine - Mish - Global Economic Analysis
“The crisis in Ukraine is all the European Union’s fault. Its leaders negotiated a trade deal with Ukraine, which essentially blackmailed the country to choose between Europe and Russia,” Le Pen told Le Monde daily in an interview.

Finally, someone in France shows they have a pair of cohones.

"Citing "admiration" for Putin is probably not going to play well with French voters."

A drowning person will grab anything that offers them a chance of survival.

"And her assertion "The crisis in Ukraine is all the European Union’s fault" is certainly wrong given the role the US played at Maidan, leading to the overthrow of Viktor Yanukovych, former Ukraine president."

So you're saying that good-hearted USA never funded and supported the build-up to this Ukraine Civil War? And just what is going on now? A Ukrainian version of ethnic cleansing just like in the former Yugoslavia. And once again, who funded and supported this effort? Back in the days of "Nam", it was fairly common to hear the phrase, "Let us win your hearts and minds or we will burn your damn hut down." The Ukrainian government with the support of the US and EU is making war on its own citizens just to preserve its tax revenue base. How else could the Ukraine ever service its massive debt load to US and EU banks?

In all forms of governance, there are only two options.
Consent of the governed.
Slavery, usually under force of arms.

It is fairly obvious which choice the Ukraine, USA and EU have made.
