>More Obama Dead-on-Arrival Tax Proposals - Mish - Global Economic Analysis
I'm betting on Obama and company's grasp of game theory. Here are some basics.
1. I'm gonna do good stuff.
2. Corporations are sitting on $2 trillion overseas to get out of paying their fair share.
3. I had bi-partisan support for the stuff I was gonna do.
4. But the republicans control both houses and refuse to tax the corporations that support them.
5. The republicans are obstructionists.
6. And the real irony was the stuff, I was gonna do, would have created lots of jobs.
7. No tax money and we can't put people to work. If the people can't get work, we have no tax monies to work with.
8. It makes me wonder if the republicans want a smaller middle class.

In less than 2 years, there will be another election. House, 1/3rd of the Senate and last but not least POTUS.

Occam's Razor anyone?
