>Senator Lindsey Graham: Interventionist, Warmonger, Man of Empire  - Michael S. Rozeff - Mike Rozeff
Thank you, Professor Rozeff for more sane commentary. Now that the NY Times is firmly on the warmonger wagon, your voice is a peal through the wilderness of violence and devastation which the USA has seemed to be relying upon quite a bit more since Bunnypants Bush was elected back in 2000. Without intending to sound cynical, the USA is still a major producer in one area - destruction. We lead the world in that area in both foreign and domestic categories. Seemingly not content with destroying ancient civilizations (Iraq, Afghanistan and soon, most likely Iran and Syria), 'leaders' (I'm always wary of politicians who campaign on or claim 'leadership' abilities. I don't want to be led. I wish to be represented.) in the USA have turned their destructive impulses and abilities upon their own nation. Has anyone performed a thorough examination of our economy and the possibilities of repairing the damage lately? I believe the proper term for Graham and his ilk are Radical Authoritarians. What they say goes and in the process, so do our civil liberties and sadly, business opportunities. They are now beginning to develop and implement their processes to begin their endgame: The militarization of our nation and the redirection of an open and self-regulating economy to that of vigorous and rigorous government and very large corporate intervention, control and plotting. They're getting there and small business doesn't stand a chance, I'm afraid. Markets do not work in a traditional manner, do not respond to the age old criteria of supply and demand and have become, at best, a crap shoot dependent upon the vicissitudes of Wall Street and government gamblers who, in their zeal and foraging for a fast buck are more than willing to sacrifice stability and planning for a crusade marshaled to destroy competition and conquer the sources of natural resources. Graham is one of their leaders, an enabler of sorts and behind all of his pompous and intimidating rhetoric lies a lustful, greedy, power hungry and mendacious manipulator who only wishes to enrich himself and his followers, enlarge their corporate and military power base and spread a neo-fascist Pax Americana across the globe (You'll have peace as long as you do as we tell you to do). The tragedy is twofold: His destructive grab seems to be working and it is functioning at the expense of the majority of American citizens. I clearly understand the risk - this interpretation could be construed as the rantings of a paranoid; yet hundreds of thousand of dead human beings in the mideast, the destruction and theft of our economy and hence our livelihoods and the absolute refusal of government to prosecute thieves and murderers and their absolute complicity with the men and institutions who want it all and will do, have done and are doing anything to get it.

Beginning of the headline : Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is a leader of the pack against Iran, as depicted in thisAP news article. At this historical juncture in which aggression against Iran on the part of Israel and/or the U.S.is openly discussed, Graham is an influential congressional interventionist and warmonger...
