You say "foreigners are already scrambling for FR notes". Isn't that because we alone have the printing press along with the EURO and Yen. What's going to happen when foreigners have to start using gold backed notes and the paper currencies are no longer accepted for exports, as suggested by pro-gold economists Jim Willie? He says there is going to be a Tsunami of sheiss dollars coming back to our shores diluting the value of the dollar here in all forms.

You're assuming that the world is going to continue with paper currencies and you describe a stampede away from digital currencies to somehow more genuine foldable paper currencies. In your mind the debate is between digital vs paper. To the gold bugs it's all about paper vs gold backed. And of course the value of gold is that it's guaranteed scarce and not capable of being debased or printed. To most people that's the important distinction.
