Well your opinion is somewhat fine till the last paragraph.
Why would I believe you Or anyone else? Your tone is offensive...get a grip. I suspect you've been plunging into silver and its still going down and the missus is getting dirty on you for blowing the account!
I haven't read anyone else saying "that there would be little use for Silver in a rapidly declining industrial era"
As for due diligence I did it years ago and sold 50% of my holding the day before Bin Laden got shot HAHA, and the rest not long after and held onto 4kg of sterling silver junk because it belonged to my hold man and has sentimental value. Hedge..bullshit and notice I said it May be useful.
So I am left with gold because it is less risky. Anyone who can't see that is a moron to say the least.
Further I do not care what the gold /silver ratio is because it is meaningless pap.
You won't read that anywhere else either.
As for granules it was just a suggestion as alternative.
I agree the mark up on 1 gm cards is high that is why granules are better than silver coins.

Anyway Overthetop we shall all find out who has the better holding one day.
