Very interesting article. I don't know a lot about American civil war. But I certainly wonder why American religious people are so aggressive. This link between patriotism, the flag, religion, Jesus coming, a feeling of moral superiority and a crusade to spread the world. Now I understand it much better.

I'd like to know which one of the candidates, Trump or Hillary, is more close to the puritanist ideas of spreading wars through the world.
