Kunstler wasn't concerned about 'The Deep State' when he voted for Obama...since Obama's agenda seemed to coincide initially with Kunstler's own.

But Obama failed Kunstler miserably by not chasing people out of their automobiles and ordering the masses onto mass transit and by not doing more - the ultimate goal - to curb industry. The final step: cutting roads into the deep forests to herd the population into...each shivering individual with an autograph copy of Kunstler's book 'A World Made by Hand.' Or how to survive and thrive using sticks and stones.
