Sadly, the market situation is evolving to the area where fraud, insider connections and lies have become essential fundamentals for investing and speculation which necessitates those honest investors and traders still standing having to play the game by these skewered rules. We're almost there. However, if people like Ranting Andy keep the situation in view and exposed, we do stand a chance to recover some of the decency and integrity (God, there are some words one doesn't hear very much these days!) which finance and investment once possessed.
