Bingo! These are the pesky facts that politicians and their lapdog media do not want you to think about.

As L. Neil Smith once said, I paraphrase, "Gun control is the only issue that matters. It is the Vulcan mind meld that will tell you what a politician really thinks about you. If they don't trust you with a gun, you cannot trust them at all." They see you as a subject to be ordered about.
An unarmed citizen is a subject not a sovereign.
