The New Urbanists are just more socialist central planners with an architectural bent. A group such as this would never even consider that an individual person not only has the right to decide where and how they want to live, but that the individual is also the most qualified to make this decision. A free societey and central planning are incompatible, whether it be social, economic, monetary, or whatever.
