>A Look at the Fed's Election Campaign  - Peter Schiff - Euro Pacific Capital
If only the public would realize when Bernake and his ilk say: "More economic stimulus" translates to "Steal from the poor, the elderly and the underpriviledge by raising their cost of living" or translates to "Squeeze the middle class" or "Confound the producers of goods by making future pricing of items almost impossible" - then, just maybe, real outrage would begin.

If Congress, which is a group elected to handle the Nations expnditures as provided by the Constitution, would be required to tax for what it votes to spend, then perhaps real outrage would begin and the real problem be realized by the body politic. Every baby born is handed a bill to pay for Congress' lack of honesty about what they are doing! Instead a stealth tax is applied to everyone across the board hitting some much harder than others causing dispair and confusion due to the lack of understanding as to the cause of this malaise.

Let's put the blame squarely where it lay. Congress' lack of honesty, courage and faithfullness to our Constitution is the CAUSE. The federal reserve is simply an agent of the Congress, an enabler, an opportunist. As a good Dr. once said: "THE SPENDING IS THE TAX". ....and might I add, and the TAX IS LAID on the INNOCENT without representation.
