You forget, that the USA is having a election and there is no clear winner, the market does not like uncertainty, and when in doubt, they buy the USD or t-bills. that is why the USD will have a dead cat bounce until after the election
Gold and silver will have some profit taking but when all is said and done they should move higher in the long run
