Thanks for the question. If the amount of gold in the vaults of the US Treasury is much smaller in reality than what is reported, then gold will most likely rally sharply when this information is confirmed. Actually, this is not something unlikely in the following years in my opinion. With regard to the above analysis - it would not be invalidated, because the point of this essay was to show that gold could move much higher even without a collapse of the US Dollar. The possibility that you described is another bullish factor for future gold prices.
