>SS boots Liberty Dollars off eBay but no prosecution of HSBC money launderers  - Chris Powell -

When was the Liberty Dollar the current coin or a Security? What about all those faux tribute coins?

If you want justice, go see the chaplain. The courts are for evidence and interpretation of law.

The overwhelming odds are that von Not Haus will be found guilty. Article I section 10 "No State, ... coin Money ... ,". If the States are forbidden to coin Money, then so it is with individuals. (He was arrogant. Had he only stated weight rather than dollar value, he would not have been bothered.)

Until "all" coins of a particular design are withdrawn from circulation by the "gov't", they remain current. Was in a coffee shop a few weeks ago and the proprietor showed me a silver Washington she had just got in change. Have you ever seen some of the coins waitresses get in tips? Once again, in circulation infers current Coin.

So, how about the minting and sales of faux tribute coins?
