The flower in the Jardine logo above is patently obvious a thistle head.The base under the leaves is obviously spiked and has a somewhat cacti look to it.

Whoever. It is tosh and drivel.(Possibly defamatory to That Ilk ?)
The Jardine Clan Badge flower is an apple blossom.Its legally protected.
The thistle is a symbol of Scotland.
Jardine are a Lowland Scots Clan.So this is why they are using a thistle flower head.
Quite a few Scots families got involved in Banking early on.
